St Joseph’s Nudgee College is seeking a professional and proactive Librarian to contribute to a welcoming, professional Library environment. This is a full-time, fixed-term contract covering a staff member on leave, concluding 19 January 2026.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Tertiary qualification in Library and Information Services (completed or currently undertaking)
• QLD Working with Children Blue Card (or eligibility to obtain one)

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE

• Accessit or similar Library Management Systems
• Working with school-aged children/teenagers who have diverse needs
• School Book Hire/resource hire processes
• Library databases, ClickView, Wheelers platform

As part of our six-person Library team, you will support students, classes and teachers while managing library facilities and maintaining a purposeful, student-focused space for learning. This role also shares coordination responsibilities for our Book Hire program. There will be times where you are the sole Librarian on the floor, so confidence, autonomy and initiative are essential.
