Description Library Aide Work Study (CGCC STUDENTS ONLY) Salary $16.00 Hourly Location The Dalles, OR Job Type Student Worker Department Library & Learning Commons Opening Date 10/14/2025 Description JOB SUMMARY: The Library Aide helps make the LLC inclusive and welcoming by greeting patrons, managing material and requests, and providing support to faculty, students and staff. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required to perform the job satisfactorily. Operate circulation and printing systems Serve patrons (account management, research/material requests) Help with library projects Other duties as assigned Requirements Qualifications KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES NEEDED TO PERFORM THIS ROLE: Previous office work experience Customer service skills EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Previous office work experience is preferred but not required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS: This position requires working at a computer, typing, sitting, and standing. This position requires use of office equipment such as computers, printers, telephones, copiers, adding machines, fax machines, and scanners.
