    He angitūtanga: The opportunity The opportunity has arisen to work as a Libraries & Council Services Assistant in Mahurangi East Library. This will require you to be flexible as you may need to work from other sites within the Rodney local board area (Warkworth & Wellsford Libraries). Mahurangi East Library is an active community library serving a fast-growing community. Our library whānau is focused on caring for each other, our community, and our environment. We are looking for a flexible all-rounder to join and contribute as part of a high-achieving, cohesive, and dynamic team. You will be supporting the team and contributing to the day-to-day running of the library as well as building lasting and meaningful relationships with our customers.  Many of our libraries are open 7 days a week so flexibility around working days, including weekends and late nights, is required. We are looking to fill a part time position working 16 hours per week. Shifts below: •    Thursdays 8.30am – 12.00pm – 3.5hours •    Fridays 8.30am – 5.00pm – 8.5 hours (includes a 30 minute meal break)•    Saturdays 8.45am- 1.15pm – 4.5 hours You can view a copy of the position description here   He kōrero mōu: About you You will have strong people skills, a team player, flexible and adaptable to a library environment.
