It’s all for better public services. Better processes. And a better quality of life, for everyone. Join us, and Swindon will be better with you.

LIAs help customers and residents to access physical and online information. LIAs support customers and residents in their use of IT and encourage reading and lifelong learning.
LIAs deliver children’s activities e.g. story times and class visits as well as supporting other library promotional events. They also support volunteers and volunteer activities.
LIAs may be asked to work at any branch across the Swindon Library network.
Successful candidates will need excellent communication and IT skills as well as good levels of literacy and numeracy. An awareness of the services the library provides and an interest in books and lifelong learning is desirable.
