QUALIFICATIONS

Responsibilities

Library Applications Support (40%)

  • Manage library Omni academic search platform and update related documentations
  • Liaise with Lakehead’s Technology Services Centre and external vendors to resolve application issues.
  • Support institutional repository and digital collections platforms.

Web Design and Maintenance (30%)

  • Maintain and develop content for the library website and intranet.
  • Ensure compliance with AODA web accessibility standards.
  • Monitor and analyze web traffic to enhance user experience.
  • Provide training to staff on web tools and content management systems.

Digital Scholarship Support (20%)

  • Assist students and faculty with digital scholarship tools and services, including data visualization and research data management.
  • Support the delivery of maker space applications and digital publishing initiatives.

Other Duties (10%)

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
