If you have a passion for service delivery and are keen to learn about the library service, we would like to hear from you.    The role involves processing and maintaining stock in our central store and managing specialist stock collections, such as reading groups, music scores and care homes. The work is varied, including the physical sorting of stock in transit between libraries, and computer-based work such as answering enquiries from library staff by email and telephone. You will be working as part of a small and dedicated team, supporting your colleagues to meet the needs of both staff and library visitors. You will also be required to assist your colleagues with opening and closing the building and will be required to travel to libraries to help with stock work and other tasks as required.  This vacancy is fixed-term until 01 January 2027 and is eligible for a secondment pending approval of the candidate's current line manager.
