Orders supplies. Orders and receives library materials/checks invoices. Processes periodicals. Processes mail for the library system. Creates records, changes holdings using an automated system. Performs database maintenance. Other duties assigned. REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma/GED. Ability to understand and carry out instructions. Strong computer skills, keyboarding and typing skills. Good communication skills and the ability to interact easily with staff and the public. Ability to lift materials up to 25 lbs on a daily basis. SALARY RANGE: $15.00 hourly, 24 hours per week. Responsibilities
The library clerk is responsible for processing books, AV items, and periodicals while maintaining library databases. They also handle supply orders, invoice processing, and general mail distribution for the library system.
