REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Licensed Librarian (R.A 9246)
Experience: Must have at least 5 years of supervisory role in special library setting. Experience in Law Library management is an advantag

• Spearhead the acquisition, collection, and circulation of new books and materials to ensure that the library materials and resources are relevant, updated, and adequate.
• Lead the development, review, and implementation of internal policies on circulation and weeding of library resources.
• Create and curate engaging and informative content/promotional materials, including articles, latest issuances from different agencies, and videos, to facilitate knowledge transfer and information dissemination.
• Support lawyers by conducting in-depth legal research, analyzing complex legal issues, and identifying relevant case laws, statutes, and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate and network with other private libraries and government agencies to gain access to resources that are currently not available in the library collection.
• Assist in seeking updates on bills, laws and other published issuances (e.g. to Supreme Court, House of Representatives, etc.)
• Oversee the library personnel in implementing library services such as classifying, cataloging, and indexing of library resources (physical and electronic).
• Conduct regular collection inventory.
• Perform other related tasks/assignments that may be given from time to time.
