The Library Technician II is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Library Learning Commons at the Labrador West Campus:
· Assist students and staff with library services and answer general questions.
· Manage library software and computer systems for circulation, interlibrary loans, and tracking overdue items.
· Shelving materials accurately and efficiently to ensure library collections remain easily accessible to users.
· Support users with research and reference services.
· Prepare book orders and manage overdue notices.
· Maintain records such as library usage, registration cards, and periodicals.
· Ensure the library remains clean and organized to provide a welcoming environment for users.
· Perform additional tasks as needed to support the smooth operation of the library.
