Adecco is actively seeking a Licensed 310T Mechanic on behalf of a well-respected client based in Port Perry, Ontario. This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary of $79,000 and the opportunity to work with a trusted name in the Heavy Equipment and Truck Repair industry. The successful candidate will perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles and equipment, from light-duty pickups to heavy construction machinery. REQUIREMENTS:

  • Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
  • Valid 310T Mechanic License (Ontario)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of diesel and gas engines
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team
  • Strong attention to detail with safety and quality in mind
  • Valid Ontario Driver’s License
  • Own hand tools (up to 3/4")

Responsibilities
  • Performing repair and maintenance on heavy trucks and light-duty pickup trucks
  • Inspecting bulldozers, excavators, skid-steers, and similar heavy equipment for faults and malfunctions
  • Using computerized diagnostic tools to assess internal combustion engines (gas and diesel)
  • Adjusting and repairing or replacing parts, components, or systems using hand and power tools
  • Testing equipment to ensure performance meets manufacturer specifications
  • Conducting MTO yearly safety inspections
  • Performing routine cleaning, lubrication, and maintenance
  • Responding to occasional on-call emergencies when required
