JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join our team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing and certifying aircraft maintenance tasks, attending to routine transit/daily/weekly/monthly checks, troubleshooting, and repairing aircraft and engines, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures. The role is a mixture of base and line maintenance, with the percentage allocated depending on workload.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ideally holds a CASA (Australia) or EASA Aircraft Maintenance License , or alternatively a license that can be transferred to a CASA license via Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) .Eligible licenses include, but are not limited to: CAAS , DCAM , etc.
  • Must hold at least one type rating on an Airline Transport Category Aircraft .Note: Type training (bonded) will be offered to suitable candidates.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Licensed Aircraft Engineer (LAE)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in English (reading and writing)

Responsibilities


    • Perform and certify aircraft maintenance tasks including inspection, repair, modification, and functional tests.



      • Attend to routine transit/daily/weekly/monthly checks and other line maintenance duties.



        • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft and engines and all associated aircraft systems.



          • Inspect finished work, carry out operation/functional tests, and rectify aircraft defects.



            • Sign-off all tasks performed and comply with Airworthy Release.



              • Manage and maintain tool & equipment store and provide recommendations, if applicable.



                • Base Maintenance: 90%, Line Maintenance: 10%, depending on workload.



                  • Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures.



                    • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities performed.



                      • Collaborate with other maintenance and engineering personnel to troubleshoot and resolve complex aircraft issues.
