Bombardier’s Business Aircraft London Service Centre in Biggin Hill is part of an award-winning network and is the flagship of Bombardier’s European operation. This Base and Line Maintenance Centre is the fastest-growing Service Centre in Europe and the largest Business Aircraft OEM in the UK. The facility has the capabilities to perform an array of maintenance checks, modifications and upgrades all from this site. • Troubleshoots, repairs, inspects and performs maintenance on customer aircraft
• Performs and documents all work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required
• Be able to train, coach and support other employees
• Perform complete engine runs as required
• Perform complex repairs on aircraft systems
• Supervise Mechanics when carrying out maintenance tasks, and determine that relevant tasks or inspections have been carried out to the required standard
• Release maintenance tasks that are performed by him-/herself or under his supervision for which he/she is trained and authorized
• Sign off base maintenance tasks that are performed by him-/herself or under his/her supervision, in support of Certifying Staff Category C
• Perform maintenance at off-site locations
• Assist when providing time estimates
