Description We are seeking a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) to provide high-quality therapeutic services to individuals, families, and groups. The LAC will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and supporting clients through evidence-based counseling practices. Clinical supervision will be provided to support professional development and progress toward independent licensure (LPC). LAC Key Responsibilities: Provide individual services to clients of diverse backgrounds. Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations. Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals in collaboration with clients. Maintain timely, accurate, and confidential documentation in compliance with agency and licensing standards. Participate in regular clinical supervision sessions as required for licensure. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care and support client progress. Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions tailored to client needs. Respond to client crises and provide crisis intervention services as needed. Attend required staff meetings, trainings, and professional development activities. Salary: $85,000 (Salary + Bonus) Paid Holidays: Observance of major federal holidays with full pay. Paid Time Off (PTO): 2 weeks of paid time off annually, available after probationary period. Requirements LAC Qualifications: Master’s degree in counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution. Active LAC (Licensed Associate Counselor) license in New Jersey. Active LAC (Licensed Associate Counselor) license in Pennsylvania. Eligibility and willingness to participate in clinical supervision provided by the agency. Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning. Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently while also functioning as part of a collaborative team. Commitment to providing culturally competent and client-centered care. Previous experience in mental health settings is preferred but not required.
