In the position of License Automotive Technician will be reporting to the Service Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for keeping our family of customers safely on the road by ensuring their vehicles are in working order.

Responsibilities

YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:

  • Identifying and troubleshooting vehicle issues using advanced diagnostic tools and technical expertise.
  • Performing repairs and maintenance on customer vehicles, including brake systems, engines, suspension, steering, and electrical systems.
  • Completing routine automotive services such as oil and filter changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, and wheel alignments.
  • Carrying out repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications, warranty requirements, and service procedures.
  • Explaining vehicle concerns, repairs, and maintenance recommendations to service advisors or customers in a clear and professional manner.
  • Ensuring all vehicles serviced meet safety regulations and operational standards before delivery to customers.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company and industry safety protocols.
  • Collaborating with service advisors, parts staff, and other technicians to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
  • Performing additional duties as required to support the service department.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Two or more years of experience in a technician position or setting
  • Valid Automotive Service Technician Red Seal certification.
  • Valid Driver’s License and clean Driver’s Abstract
  • Superior knowledge of complex mechanical or electric systems of vehicles
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work on your own or as part of a team
  • Holds a high level of integrity while performing extensive diagnostics and repairs
  • Ability to remain organized and handle multiple priorities
  • Strong communication skills
