Responsibilities:

  • Performing vehicle regular maintenance and repairs in a timely manner
  • Inspecting assigned vehicles for additional safety work required or recommended
  • Clock IN and OUT the jobs / personal time record as required
  • Familiar with completing Multi Point Inspection (MPI) report
  • Comfortable road-testing vehicles using safe driving standards
  • Obtaining, Returning and Tagging parts from / to Parts Dep.
  • Keeping up-to date with manufacturer FIRFT, TSB, recalls and warranty bulletins
  • Provide clear and accurate documentation for all kinds of repairs
  • Use appropriate tools, equipment and report defective tools to the management
  • High attention to details and a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
  • Strives to go the extra mile to meet the quality standards our customers expect.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Ontario 310S license
  • Must be able to work and perform all kinds of diagnosis with minimal supervision
  • Valid Driver’s License with recent drivers abstract
  • General Service Department experience preferred
  • Able to establish and maintain good working relations with the team
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including walking, crouching, bending, regularly lift up to 25 lbs. and standing for extended periods

Experience:

  • Automotive repairs licensed Flat Rate Technician: 1-3 years (preferred)
  • Dealership: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday: 7am to 4pm, 8am to 5pm, or 9am to 6pm
  • Rotational on Saturday: 8am to 5pm
  • Rotation of 6 working days one week followed by 4 working days the next week
