Campus Nissan Victoria is looking for a skilled Level 3 or 4 Apprentice Technician or Red Seal Automotive Technician to join our Service Department. This is an opportunity to work with a strong team while diagnosing, servicing, and repairing vehicles to ensure they are safe, reliable, and performing at their best. The successful candidate will bring strong technical skills, attention to detail, and pride in their workmanship. You will work closely with the Service and Parts Departments to complete repairs efficiently and help provide customers with a positive service experience. Pay Range: $25.75 to $43.15 hourly depending on certification and level of experience. A Day in the Life Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles in accordance with manufacturer and dealership standards Perform thorough vehicle inspections with accurate documentation and measurements Identify mechanical and electrical issues, recommend solutions, and communicate findings clearly to Service team Partner with Service Advisors to provide updates on repair timelines or recommend additional safety work Conduct road tests and pre-delivery inspections on new inventory to ensure every vehicle leaving the shop is in top condition Coordinate with the Parts Department to source what you need and manage warranty labeling Assist fellow technicians when needed to maintain overall shop productivity Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards Ensure a high degree of confidentiality with company and customer information Participate in maintaining a supportive and engaging working environment What We’re Looking For Level 3 or Level 4 Apprentice certification, Red Seal certification, or currently working toward challenging the Red Seal exam EV certification and/or Vehicle Inspection certification would be considered an asset Previous experience as an automotive technician is required A valid BC Driver’s license is required, including a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract is required Able to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, with a keen attention to detail Detail oriented, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Reliable, punctual, and dependable Ability to work the physical requirements of a service technician role Ability to regularly lift up to 60 pounds Ability to stand for extended periods of time High level of mobility, dexterity, endurance, and sensory awareness Ability to work in an automotive shop environment Indoor automotive shop with multiple service bays Exposure to noise (engines, air tools), fumes (exhaust, solvents), and dust Work performed around moving vehicles, hoists, and heavy equipment Temperature can vary (shops may be cooler in winter, warmer in summer despite heating/ventilation) What We Offer Competitive hourly compensation Comprehensive health, dental, and insurance benefits Opportunities for career advancement and professional development Manufacturer-led training programs Access to exclusive corporate discounts Recognition and rewards programs A supportive and team-oriented workplace How to Apply If this sounds like a great fit, please apply with your resume today!
