LICENSED AUTOMOTIVE OR DIESEL TECHNICIAN

We are looking for a full-time Licensed Automotive Technician to join our team! Licensed Automotive Technicians work 40 hours per week 8am-5pm with one hour lunch Monday through Friday, no weekends.

YOUR CAPABILITIES AND CREDENTIALS

• Well organized, possess a good work ethic and a friendly, positive attitude
• Hard working, self-motivated and strong time management skills
• Have a valid driver’s license and be able to provide a current driver’s abstract
• Have a valid Motor Vehicle Inspection License
• Excellent diagnostic skills
• Pride in workmanship
• Light and Medium Duty Diesel Experience considered an asset.
• Electrical aptitude considered an asset
• Trailer MVI License considered an asset
• Alignment experience considered an asset
• A/C Certificate considered an asset
• EV/Hybrid Experience considered an asset

Licence/Certification:

• Motor Vehicle Inspection License (required)

• Inspect, diagnose, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems as required
• Interpret vehicle wiring schematics and pro-demand guides to assist in troubleshooting.
• Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer’s performance specifications
• Advise service advisor or manager on work performed, general vehicle condition and future repair requirements
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Diagnose faults and confirm findings with supervisor
• Complete reports to record problems and work performed
