We are looking for a Class A Licensed Automotive Technician who enjoys working in the Automotive Trade. You will be responsible for:

  • Performing work on repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and Kia Canada policies and procedures
  • Diagnosing, maintaining, and preparing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
  • Communicating directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed, and provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
  • Performing inspections and safety checks
  • Performing a variety of skilled work not requiring the service of other licensed trades
  • Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
  • Operating vehicles to move in and out of the service garage and completing road tests
  • Maintaining a clean workspace
  • Other duties as required by management

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Professional experience is an asset but even if you have little or no automotive sales experience, our training program will teach you the skills required for success.

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Class A Automotive Technician license
  • OEM experience preferred
  • Proficient with computer systems and programs
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Mandatory valid G driver’s license and clean drivers abstract
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively communicate automotive issues clearly
