Your future role at a glance Location: Indianapolis, IN Facility: Ascension Stress Center Outpatient Services Department/Specialty: Float Schedule: Full time | Day shift How you'll make an impact in this role Comprehensive Therapy: Conduct clinical assessments to establish targeted treatment goals, delivering both individual and group behavioral health counseling. Collaborative Care: Partner directly with patients, families, physicians, and community providers to ensure seamless, coordinated care from admission to discharge. Progress Tracking: Continually evaluate the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions and adjust treatment plans to optimize patient outcomes. Community Connection: Educate and connect patients with vital external resources and therapeutic activities to support their long-term success. Clinical Documentation: Maintain thorough, accurate, and strictly confidential records of clinical observations and treatment progress. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: One or more of the following required: Licensed Associate Counselor specializing in Mental Health credentialed from the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensed Associate Counselor specializing in Clinical Addiction credentialed from the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensed Social Worker credentialed from the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensed Associate Therapist specializing in Marriage & Family credentialed from the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board obtained within 48 Months (4 years) of hire date or job transfer date. BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: Bachelor's degree in Social Work required. What additional requirements you'll need Eligible candidates must have a Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or another related field and must have a clinical license LMHC, LCAC, LMFT, or LSW | LCSW. These are required! Masters degree in behavioral health related field required. Associate license considered, Full clinical license preferred.
