As a Licensed Behavioral Health Counselor -SBOP, you will be responsible providing integrated treatment supporting the needs of both behavioral and physical health care to clients admitted to Berks Counseling Center. This would include clinical treatment modalities and supporting documentation. You will: Serve as an active member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team. Provide screening, assessment, and evaluation of potential clients. Provide individual, group, and/or family counseling Effectively assess client treatment needs and develop a comprehensive individualized integrated treatment plan. Utilize collaborative documentation to complete clinical documentation that meets compliance standards, medical necessity guidelines, and agency standards as to timeliness and accuracy of documentation. Requirements To qualify for the position, you will need to have… Master’s degree in a related social service field required. Active PA Licensure (LPC, LMFT or LCSW) required. LPC, LCSW, or LMFT with counseling experience in mental health and/or drug and alcohol required. Experience with mental health required Ability to work 40 hours per week within agency hours of operation, which are 8am-8pm Mon-Thurs, 8am-4pm Friday with Saturday hours, when applicable. Preferred candidates will … Experience with substance abuse preferred. Experience working with adolescents preferred. Valid PA Driver’s License and the ability to drive and travel preferred.
