Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor | Remote Mental Health Therapist in Montana Job Summary We are hiring a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor to deliver telehealth counseling services to clients located in Montana. This role centers on providing steady therapeutic support, helping clients work through emotional, behavioral, and life-related concerns from a secure virtual setting. As the LCPC, you will guide clients through assessment, treatment planning, therapy sessions, progress reviews, and clinical documentation. The role is best suited for a counselor who values clear communication, strong ethics, and practical care that clients can use in everyday life. Job Details Role: Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor License Needed: LCPC Location: Montana Setting: Remote / Telehealth Employment Type: Full-Time Pay: $115,000–$120,000 per year Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Key Responsibilities Conduct virtual therapy appointments with clients in a secure, confidential setting Complete biopsychosocial assessments and identify clinical needs Create treatment goals that are measurable, realistic, and appropriate for each client Provide counseling using clinically appropriate methods based on client presentation Help clients strengthen coping tools, emotional awareness, decision-making, and interpersonal skills Document sessions, treatment updates, safety concerns, and clinical decisions accurately Recognize signs of increased risk and follow required escalation procedures Refer clients to additional services when their needs fall outside the scope of outpatient telehealth care Active Montana LCPC license in good standing Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field Experience providing individual therapy in an outpatient, private practice, community mental health, or telehealth setting Comfortable using telehealth platforms, EHR systems, and secure online communication tools Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills Ability to manage a full-time caseload with professionalism and consistency Knowledge of HIPAA, client confidentiality, and telehealth best practices $115,000–$120,000 annual salary Full-time remote position 2 weeks PTO Health Insurance 401K Plan with 3% Company Match Monday–Friday schedule Supportive clinical and administrative structure Stable caseload and long-term career opportunity If this remote LCPC role matches the kind of clinical work you want to do next, we invite you to send your resume for review.
