Guardian Property Management is a growing condominium management firm with a large portfolio spanning from Peterborough all the way up to Haliburton. We have been in operation for over 35 years and support small corporations. Most of our condominiums consists of 25 units and under. We work on behalf of small corporations to ensure they have a voice. We are currently looking for a licensed condominium manager to join our team. This team member will be based in our Selwyn office.
We manage small corporations, as such our managers have several corporations under their individual management. Time management is an essential skill in this team environment. Our company uses industry specific software – Condo Manager. Our managers prepare budgets, run meetings, create status certificates, create information certificates and returns.
This is a great opportunity for a manager who is looking to build long lasting relationships with clients. We have a strong supportive team, and our managers are involved in all aspects of the management of the building, Board and owners.
Experience and skills necessary:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 3 years condominium management
  • General License
  • Proven management of Common Elements, Vacant Land and Standard Corporations
  • Experience overseeing limited licensee is a bonus
  • Must have a current drivers license and a reliable vehicle
  • Proficient computer skills – outlook, word, pdfs, and excel
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Must be self starter, strong leadership and team player
Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple small condominium corporations
  • Prepare budgets, status certificates, information certificates, and returns
  • Organize and lead board and owners’ meetings at various locations
  • Use Condo Manager software for day-to-day operations
  • Build strong relationships with Boards and owners
