RESPONSIBILITIES: * Present the patient to the doctor. * Clean the patient’s teeth. * Fluoride application * Take, expose and develop digital radiographs (bitewings, panoramic). * Provide hygiene and diet education. * Assist the dentist during treatment procedures in office or hospital. * Schedule follow-up exams. * Review schedule to make sure appointments are scheduled appropriately. * Set-up and tear down dental chairs and operatory rooms. * Parents consults-discuss treatment plans. * Clean and sterilize instruments. * Lab work. * Restock supplies in rooms and sterilization area. * Help decorate office for birthdays and holidays. * Infection control & maintenance of OSHA guidelines.
