Key Responsibilities: Prepare patients for treatment with a calm, reassuring approach Select and set up appropriate instruments and materials based on each procedure Support the dentist through efficient 4-handed dentistry techniques Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment following health regulations Perform non-surgical clinical tasks such as coronal polishing (if certified) Offer clear oral hygiene education and post-op care instructions Keep treatment rooms organized and stocked Assist with patient records, scheduling, and payment-related tasks when needed Requirements What We’re Looking For: Current Minnesota Dental Assistant License (LDA) Strong understanding of sterilization protocols, OSHA/CDC standards, and dental instruments Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Organized, flexible, and able to adapt in a fast-moving environment Positive energy and a team-first attitude Additional Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; graduation from an accredited dental assistant program preferred Additional certifications (e.g., coronal polishing, EFDA) are a plus Proficient in dental software and digital X-ray systems We offer a supportive and upbeat team culture where you’ll be encouraged to grow professionally while making a real impact in the lives of kids and families.
