Description

IT’S TIME TO shift YOUR
CAREER INTO high gear.
Being a Contracted Driving Instructor at AMA is more than a job; it’s the next step in your already established career as a driving instructor, where you can enjoy the benefits of being part of Alberta’s largest driving school, including a signing bonus of $2,500. Get ready to set your own hours, be your own boss, and literally change people’s lives—one student at a time.
With AMA, you don’t need to chase leads to get students. We’ll take care of all the marketing and outreach, helping connect you with our vast pool of aspiring student drivers. Plus, we have Alberta’s first student self-scheduling system. You input your available hours, and your students book their own lessons based on your availability. With more than 10,000+ new and experienced drivers booking sessions with us annually, we’ll keep you as busy as you’d like to be all year long!
Let us put our resources to work for you, so that you can focus less on managing a business, and more on the reasons you began this career—the rewards of teaching Albertans to drive. And, if you have goals of wanting to grow and do more in the industry, we have a team of Senior Instructors ready to provide upskilling and professional development, along with opportunities for cross training and advancement.
Most importantly, you’ll wake up every day with a smile, knowing you’re making your community safer for everyone. Because at AMA Driver Education, we don’t just teach students to pass a test; we set them up to be skilled, confident drivers for life.
