With AMA, you don’t need to chase leads to get students. We’ll take care of all the marketing and outreach, helping connect you with our vast pool of aspiring student drivers. Plus, we have Alberta’s first student self-scheduling system. You input your available hours, and your students book their own lessons based on your availability. With more than 10,000+ new and experienced drivers booking sessions with us annually, we’ll keep you as busy as you’d like to be all year long!

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:

• You have your Provincial Vehicle Instructor licence from Alberta Transportation.
• You can provide a current driver abstract.
• You own a vehicle that is no more than six years old.
• You’re available for full-time hours: Only candidates with full availability (no part-time) will be considered.
• Please note – being incorporated will be required upon hire and obtaining a WCB number will be required upon completion of training.

• Report to the Field Manager, Driver Education.
• Provide quality vehicle instruction to students, following AMA’s instruction requirements and customer service standards.
• Provide constructive feedback on student drivers’ abilities, helping them develop the confidence and skills necessary to become licensed, safe drivers for life.
• Be responsible for student scheduling and submission of daily paperwork.
• Follow Alberta Transportation guidelines and policies for driving instructors.
• Be available after school, evenings and weekends, to meet students’ scheduling needs.
