MUST HAVE LICENSE (309 A OR 442A)
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local codes and regulations
- Perform electrical wiring, conduit installation, and troubleshooting
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems
- Install and program logic controllers for automation systems
- Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within budget
- Provide guidance and training to apprentices and junior electricians
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an electrician or in a related field
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, power tools, and industrial equipment
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting schematics
- Familiarity with local electrical codes and regulations
- Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve electrical issues
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require bending, climbing, lifting heavy objects, and working in confined spaces
