JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a Licensed Electrician with strong manufacturing experience to join our client’s team in Woodbridge, ON. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, equipment, and controls to support efficient manufacturing operations.

REQUIREMENTS / CERTIFICATIONS

• Valid Ontario 309A or 442A Electrical License.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, VFDs, and automation controls.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Availability to work shifts, including overtime if required.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
• Diagnose electrical faults and implement effective solutions with minimal downtime.
• Install and upgrade wiring, control systems, and electrical components in compliance with safety codes.
• Work with PLCs, motors, drives, and other automation equipment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, productivity, and quality.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and follow company procedures.
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with Ontario Electrical Code, health and safety regulations, and company policies.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
