POSITION SUMMARY: Bordelon Marine is seeking a skilled and motivated USCG Licensed Engineer to join our offshore crew. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in diesel-electric propulsion systems, dynamic positioning (DP) vessels, and offshore operations. This role is critical to maintaining vessel safety, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance. ---------------------------------------- RESPONSIBILITIES: * Operate, maintain, and repair all onboard mechanical, electrical, and propulsion systems * Ensure compliance with USCG regulations, company policies, and industry standards * Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all machinery and equipment * Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance, and inventory * Respond promptly and effectively to equipment malfunctions and emergencies * Supervise and support unlicensed engine room personnel * Communicate clearly with the bridge and shoreside management regarding engineering issues * Participate in safety meetings, drills, and company training programs ---------------------------------------- QUALIFICATIONS: * Valid USCG Engineer License (DDE Unlimited, 3rd Assistant Engineer, or higher preferred) with OICEW * Valid TWIC, MMC, STCW, and Medical Certificate * Strong knowledge of diesel-electric propulsion and DP systems * Experience working on offshore supply or specialty vessels * Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills * Ability to work an even-time (28/28 or 21/21) rotational schedule * Strong communication and team leadership skills
