Description A Licensed Hairdresser is someone who will be scheduled multiple days during the week at a couple of Cascadia Facilities. Essential Functions Cut/Color residents' hair as they need/want. Provide other hair services as able such as perms, beard trims, etc. Other Functions Conducts job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the Company’s Code of Business Conduct, its policies and procedures, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standards. Performs other tasks as assigned. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Demonstrated willingness to learn new modalities and approaches. Good listener. Builds rapport easily. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with other disciplines. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Able to work with residents/families facing end of life issues. Requirements Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Licenses/Certification Licensed Hairdresser Experience Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred. Note: All employees of Cascadia Healthcare are required to submit and be cleared to work in the facility per each state’s specific background check requirements prior to contact with patients/residents.
Responsibilities
The Licensed Hairdresser will cut and color residents' hair as needed and provide additional hair services such as perms and beard trims. They will conduct their responsibilities in accordance with company standards and applicable laws.
