QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic certification or Red Seal Transport Trailer Technician.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and good attitude.
• Must have own hand tools (large tools are shop supplied).
• Relevant experience to this trade with Reefer experience considered an asset.
• Welding and fabrication skills.

• Perform repairs and maintenance on semi-trailers, some truck work, and other equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system issues and make necessary repairs.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections to ensure vehicle safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate repairs.
• Complete all required documentation for repairs, parts, and service history.
• Adhere to safety procedures and company policies at all times.
• Able to perform MVI’s.
