Licensed Independent Clinical Social WorkerB.E.S.S.T (Social Emotional Program)Start Date: September 1, 2025We are seeking a dynamic and collaborative School Social Worker/Adjustment Counselor to join our Mansfield High Schools Social Emotional Therapeutic Program, B.E.S.S.T (Believe Every Student Succeeds Today). This role is key to promoting mental health, emotional well-being and academic success of students through individual support, group interventions, and social coaching. The ideal candidate is a strong advocate for students, strong communicator with families and outside agencies/supports as well as skilled in trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and restorative practices.Responsibilities include: Provide school counseling services in individual, group, and classroom settings to general education students, as well as students with IEPs and 504 plansProvide services to address the social and emotional barriers to student achievement and in accordance with intervention, special education and 504 plansProvide services to help develop age-appropriate skills and promote social, emotional, and academic growth in children in the school settingEvaluate student skills and write reports to interpret/summarize findingsWork collaboratively with Special Education staff in the social and emotional classroomWork collaboratively with General Education staff to support the implementation of our school-wide social and emotional learning curriculumAttend meetings as assignedStrong data-collection skills to help to inform decisions for student
