Schedule: Full Time Shift: Monday – Friday; 8:00am – 5:00pm Location: 2407 South Clear Creek Road, Killeen, TX 76549 The role you’ll contribute: The AdventHealth Medical Group, Licensed LCSW, LPC, LMFT position is trained and licensed to treat clients with emotional, behavioral, and mental health disorders. Counseling sessions may be one-to-one, group therapy, or sessions involving family members. As part of the counseling process, they may refer patients out to other specialists, conduct interviews, testing and risk assessment sessions with patients to evaluate their mental condition and formulate a treatment plan. The position will provide billable services on AdventHealth Medical Group assigned Outpatient Clinics. In addition to therapy services, LCSW, LPC, LMFT will provide case management and education to clients, family members, other disciplines involved in the treatment of the patient. The value you’ll bring to the team: Utilizes evidence-based interventions to assist patients, families, and significant others in coping with the psychosocial aspects of illness and its treatment. Assessment of mental, behavioral, and emotional disorders Applying DSM criteria leading to diagnosis Establishment of an appropriate treatment plan, including consultation when indicated Provision of individual psychotherapy, family therapy, couples therapy, and group therapy as indicated. Intervention in urgent and emergent mental health problems Provide such other services as may be determined by the responsible supervisor within scope of practice. Develops treatment plans in collaboration with psychiatric providers as required. Consults with physicians, patient, hospital staff, family members or significant others in a timely manner to facilitate resolution of identified barriers to treatment progress to ensure the continuity of care. Maintains pertinent records of social work intervention, assessment, diagnostic impression, and treatment for use in compiling accurate statistics. The expertise and experience you’ll need to succeed: Minimum qualifications: Master's Degree Clinical Social Worker License (LCSW) (meet State of Texas independent licensure certification as required by state law) Lic Professional Counselor (LPC) Licn Marriage/Fam Therapist (LMFT) Preferred qualifications: Related Experience
