Bloom Therapy is a private practice rooted in compassion, creativity, and trauma-informed care. We’re seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor licensed in New York (LMHC or LMHC-LP) or New Jersey (LPC or LAC) to join our growing team and support individuals, couples, and families through meaningful, emotionally attuned person centered therapy. If you’re passionate about healing in the LGBTQ+ communities, inclusivity, and integrating creative modalities into your work, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a counselor at Bloom Therapy, you’ll provide individual and/or couple’s counseling with a trauma-informed, culturally responsive lens. You’ll have the opportunity to co-create therapeutic resources, contribute to program development, and help shape a practice that values emotional resonance, accessibility, and holistic care.
This position is primarily remote, with optional in-person sessions available depending on client needs and counselor preference.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Provide individual and couple’s counseling with a focus on trauma-informed care
  • Support clients navigating emotional regulation, life transitions, and relational challenges
  • Collaborate on the development of therapeutic tools and creative resources
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold ethical standards
  • Contribute to a practice culture that centers inclusivity, creativity, and emotional safety
