Required Qualifications & Skills * Education: Master's degree in counseling, psychology, or a closely related field. * Licensure: State-specific licensure (e.g., LMHC, LPC, LPCC) which typically requires 2,000–4,000 hours of post-graduate supervised clinical experience and passing a state-recognized exam. * Skills: Active listening, empathy, strong communication, crisis management, and proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
