Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) Job Summary We are looking for an LMHC who can provide thoughtful, structured therapy in a remote setting. This position involves working directly with clients through video sessions, helping them address mental health symptoms, life stressors, personal goals, and emotional challenges. You will use your clinical training to assess client needs, build treatment plans, provide therapy, and document care clearly. The role is remote, but the work remains relationship-based, clinically focused, and centered on helping clients make steady progress. Employment Details Location: Tallahassee, FL Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth Position Type: Full-Time Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year with full benefits Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Responsibilities Deliver mental health counseling through secure video sessions Conduct intake assessments and ongoing evaluations Create individualized treatment plans Provide therapy for clients with anxiety, depression, stress, grief, relationship issues, and other mental health needs Maintain organized clinical records and timely progress notes Help clients identify goals, coping skills, and behavior patterns Respond appropriately to risk concerns or changes in client presentation Follow state, ethical, and privacy requirements Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Psychology, or a closely related field Active Florida LMHC license in good standing Previous experience providing individual counseling or psychotherapy Comfortable providing therapy through telehealth Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills Ability to manage a full-time remote caseload responsibly Reliable internet connection and a private workspace for client sessions $115,000–$120,000 yearly salary Full benefits 2 weeks PTO Health Insurance 401K Plan with 3% Company Match Remote work setting Consistent weekday hours Supportive team structure If you want a remote counseling role where your clinical training is used every day, we would like to hear from you.
