Part-Time Mental Health Therapist (Community-Based) Location: Baltimore, MD (Community-Based / Hybrid Option Available) Empowering Minds Resource Center (EMRC) is seeking a part-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist to provide therapy services to youth ages 5–21 through the Baltimore City Department of Social Services (BCDSS) Wellness Program. This position involves conducting clinical assessments, providing individual and family therapy, developing treatment plans, and monitoring progress. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to helping youth reach their full potential through quality behavioral health services. Responsibilities * Provide individual and family therapy for assigned clients in collaboration with the BCDSS Wellness Program * Conduct assessments and develop measurable treatment plans * Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with agency and program standards * Attend supervision and multidisciplinary team meetings * Communicate and coordinate with families, social workers, medical providers, and program partners * Complete an annual five-point background check (required by BCDSS) * Participate in the Baltimore City Foster Care Clinician Curriculum (eight-week Friday training) Qualifications * Active Maryland license at the master’s level (LMSW, LGPC, LCSW, LCSW-C, LCPC) * Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience preferred * Valid driver’s license required * Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills * Culturally competent and passionate about working with diverse youth populations Position Details Job Type: Part-Time (20 hours per week) Schedule: * Monday – Friday: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM * Saturday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM Salary: $40,000 per year Work Setting: Community-based, with hybrid flexibility Join us and be part of a team that empowers change—one client at a time.
