The Millwright / Field Service Technician is required to troubleshoot, repair and service Air Handling Equipment and electric motors in our Cambridge, Ontario service shop and client on-site locations in the tri-city’s and GTA. The successful applicant is required to perform the following duties:

• Installations & Start-ups of Air Handling Units, Air Handling Equipment and turnkey Air Handling Systems and retrofits
• Troubleshoot, service and repair Air Handling Equipment
• Perform Scheduled Preventative Maintenance procedures on Air Handling Equipment and Electric Motors.
• Take field vibration readings on equipment, on-site dynamic balancing and laser alignments of fan sheaves and coupled shafts.
• Report and discuss status of client’s Air Handling Equipment with appropriate client representatives on site
• Thoroughly document and record work performed on all Air Handling Equipment per all Company procedures
• Provide excellent Customer Service and Customer Feedback
• Work with other Skilled Trades on Air handling Equipment and Installations as required
• Maintain a clean and Safe Workplace Environment and supplied Company Service Vehicle

Position Requirements:

• Extensive knowledge of Air Handling Units, and related products
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Occasional on-call/after-hours Service duties
• Understand and support Company wide and Provincial Health & Safety procedures
• Own basic tools/equipment as per Millwright requirements
• Valid Ontario Driver’s License with a clean abstract

Successful candidates will ideally hold a recognized skilled trade certificate for Ontario or are working towards completing their trade certificate.
Candidates with demonstrated Millwright / Industrial Air Handling Equipment experience are preferred for this position.
