JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including home care and teaching hospitals. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients while assisting with their daily activities and medical needs.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in home care or a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with medical records systems and basic anatomy knowledge is advantageous.
  • Experience working in a teaching hospital or similar environment is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

  • Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
  • Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
  • Help maintain patient medical records and ensure accurate documentation of care provided.
  • Support patients in memory care settings by engaging them in activities that promote cognitive function.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to implement patient care plans effectively.
  • Provide patient service by addressing concerns and ensuring a positive experience during their stay or visit.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the patient care environment.
  • Assist in the operating room (OR) as needed, ensuring that all necessary equipment is prepared for procedures.
