Description Victorian Village, a Providence Life Services community, is seeking an experienced Nursing Home Administrator, Full Time for our Skilled Nursing community in Homer Glen, IL. Our mission is to enhance the lives of those we serve in the name of Jesus Christ, and decade by decade our ministry has grown serving more people in more locations. The Administrator is responsible to plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operations of the 54-bed community in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern our facility. This individual must possess a sincere passion for working with seniors, as well as have demonstrated success in a leadership role within the healthcare industry, including exceeding financial and operational goals. Summary of essential job functions: Create and maintain a living and working environment consistent with the values and mission of Providence Life Services. Experience in creating and implementing services to enhance client satisfaction and well-being. Lead marketing strategies/activities while striving for full occupancy. Ensuring continuity and consistency in the delivery of services. Communicate policies, evaluates staff performance, provides feedback, and coach/discipline staff as needed. Effective leadership skills to include coaching and developing staff to grow and contribute to the resident experience. Oversee regular rounds to monitor delivery of nursing care, operations, and staff to ensure resident needs are being address. Represent the facility at and participate in top-level meetings. Make written and oral reports/recommendations to the governing board concerning the operation of the facility as requested. Functions as the campus on-site Risk Manager responsible for overseeing day to day monitoring of client safety and risk management activities and for investigating and reporting actual or potential clinical, operational, or business claims or lawsuits arising at the facility. Requirements A Bachelor degree in Public Health Administration, Business Administration or a health related degree is required. Must possess an Illinois Health Facility Administrator licensure. Minimum of three years of experience in a management role. Must have the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, clients, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public. EOE #HIGH1
