Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA)  _______________________________________  Reports To: Regional Director of Operations  Location: Facility Level – Optalis Health & Rehabilitation   Department: Operations  FLSA Status: Exempt    Position Summary  The Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) is responsible for the overall leadership, operational management, regulatory compliance, and financial performance of the Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). This role ensures delivery of high-quality resident care while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The Administrator serves as the executive leader of the facility and is accountable for clinical outcomes, workforce stability, financial stewardship, and resident satisfaction.  Key Responsibilities  Operational Leadership  * Provide day-to-day executive oversight of all facility operations.  * Lead interdisciplinary teams to ensure resident-centered care.  * Ensure staffing models align with census and budget targets.  * Promote accountability and engagement culture.  Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management  * Ensure compliance with CMS, state regulations, and OSHA/MiOSHA.  * Lead state and federal survey processes.  * Oversee Plan of Correction (POC) execution.  * Manage risk and compliance reporting.  Financial Management  * Manage facility operating budget.  * Monitor labor costs, census, and financial performance.  * Drive cost containment and revenue optimization.  Workforce Leadership  * Lead recruitment, retention, and engagement strategies.  * Oversee HR functions with HRBP support.  * Ensure compliance with labor laws and union agreements.  Clinical Quality  * Partner with Director of Nursing to ensure clinical excellence.  * Monitor quality measures and Five-Star ratings.  * Address infection control and readmission trends.  Census & Community Relations  * Drive census growth through partnerships and outreach.  * Maintain relationships with residents and families.  * Ensure high satisfaction levels.  Corporate Alignment  * Report operational and financial performance to RDO.  * Execute corporate initiatives and policies.  Emergency Preparedness  * Ensure emergency preparedness compliance.  * Lead response to crises and emergencies.  Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)  * Census and occupancy rates  * Labor cost as percentage of revenue  * Quality measures and Five-Star ratings  * Survey outcomes  * Employee retention  * Resident satisfaction  Qualifications  Required  * Active LNHA license  * Bachelor’s degree in related field  * 3–5 years SNF leadership experience  Preferred  * Master’s degree (MHA/MBA)  * Multi-facility experience  * Union experience  Core Competencies  * Strategic leadership  * Financial acumen  * Regulatory expertise  * Workforce engagement  * Communication skills  Work Environment  * On-site leadership with 24/7 accountability  * Ability to respond to urgent issues  #corp
