We’re currently seeking an Occupational Therapist to join a skilled nursing facility in San Francisco, CA. Details of the role: Anticipated start date: Flexible Salary range: Up to $2,196 weekly Anticipated duration of contract: 13 weeks Contract type: Travel, Permanent, or Travel-to-Perm Clinical Duties: Perform thorough resident evaluations and develop individualized OT treatment plans. Deliver expert therapy to enhance independence in daily activities and movement. Manage care for residents with orthopedic, neurological, and post-acute needs. Instruct residents in adaptive techniques and proper use of assistive devices. Partner with nursing and rehab staff to ensure cohesive care delivery. Share treatment objectives and discharge planning with residents and families. Document assessments, daily progress, and therapy notes accurately. Track resident outcomes and refine interventions for maximum effectiveness. Comply with facility standards and all applicable state regulations. Requirements: Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of California. Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Knowledge of post-acute rehabilitation, ADL retraining, and adaptive equipment. Ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans.
