ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Optician license from a recognized Community College or equivalent experience
• Secondary school graduate
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, and internet navigation
• Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience, ideally in a retail setting
• Expertise in frame selection, fitting, measuring, and checking prescriptions
• Ability to perform frame adjustments and provide contact lens insertion and removal training
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends, and participate in routine staff training outside of regular office hours

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Familiarity with optometric terminology
• Experience in scheduling and pretesting (cross-functional skills)
• Knowledge of boutique and independent frame lines
