POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are currently seeking a Licensed Optician/Optometric Assistant with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is passionate about eye care, highly customer-focused, and skilled in both eyewear sales and lens fitting.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Active Optician License/Optometric Assistant Certificate
• Minimum 3 years of optical experience
• Strong knowledge of optical products and services
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with Visual Eyes and optical software systems preferred

• Assist patients in selecting eyewear that meets their needs, preferences, and prescriptions
• Perform accurate fittings and adjustments of eyeglasses
• Verify and interpret prescriptions
• Provide education on lens types, frame options, and care instructions
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of optical products and industry trends
• Ensure compliance with optical standards
• Support overall clinic operations and collaborate with other staff to ensure excellent patient care
• Pre-testing/Reception duties
