Role Overview: Reporting to the Branch/Regional Manager, the Intake Paralegal will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service to both prospective and active clients, conducting consultations in-person, via telephone, and email. They will manage client files and appointments with precision, ensure confidentiality of all corporate and client information, and correspond professionally with courts, agents, clients, and colleagues. The Paralegal will manage case files independently guiding clients from intake through to resolution.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • P1 Paralegal License (required)
  • Minimum of 2 years of previous paralegal experience (preferred)
  • Must be in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
  • Intermediate computer literacy using Microsoft and any internal company software
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and conflict management skills
  • Comprehensive understanding of the POA/HTA and Criminal Code of Canada (preferred)
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong time management skills
  • Great attention to detail; inputting information and data entry
  • Strong sales and customer service experience
