Role Overview: Reporting to the Branch/Regional Manager, the Paralegal will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service to both prospective and active clients, conducting consultations in-person, via telephone, and email. They will manage client files and appointments with precision, ensure confidentiality of all corporate and client information, and correspond professionally with courts, agents, clients, and colleagues. Additionally, they will be responsible for reviewing and drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and handling various administrative tasks such as reconciliation of daily sales, verifying agent invoices, and maintaining company records.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • P1 Paralegal License (required)
  • Minimum of 2 years of previous paralegal experience (required)
  • Must be in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
  • Court experience (preferred)
  • Comprehensive understanding of the POA/HTA and Criminal Code of Canada (preferred)
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong time management skills and attention to detail
Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to prospective and active clients
  • Conduct in-person, telephone, and email consultations for prospective clients
  • Accurately schedule client files and appointments
  • Ensure confidentiality of all corporate and client information
  • Correspond professionally with courts, agents, clients, and co-workers
  • Review and draft legal documents
