We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of licensed physical therapists to provide high-quality patient care in our outpatient clinic. This role is essential in helping patients recover from injuries, manage pain, and improve their overall physical function.

REQUIREMENTS

• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Knowledge of physiology and anatomy relevant to physical therapy practices.
• Experience in skilled nursing facilities or inpatient settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with discharge planning processes and care plans for diverse patient populations.
• Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients about their treatment plans.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while providing compassionate patient care.
• Previous experience in physiotherapy settings such as acute care or outpatient clinics is a plus.

• Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Provide hands-on patient care, including administering therapeutic exercises and modalities.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes in their condition to the supervising therapist.
• Educate patients and their families on care plans, exercises, and home health strategies to promote recovery.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Ensure compliance with appropriate documentation, billing practices, and communications with healthcare professionals.
