OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of licensed physical therapists to provide high-quality patient care in our outpatient clinic. REQUIREMENTS

  • Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Knowledge of physiology and anatomy relevant to physical therapy practices.
  • Experience in skilled nursing facilities or inpatient settings is preferred.
  • Familiarity with discharge planning processes and care plans for diverse patient populations.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients about their treatment plans.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while providing compassionate patient care.
  • Previous experience in physiotherapy settings such as acute care or outpatient clinics is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
  • Provide hands-on patient care, including administering therapeutic exercises and modalities.

  • Educate patients and their families on care plans, exercises, and home health strategies to promote recovery.
