JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of licensed physical therapists to provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, and home health environments. Your expertise in physiotherapy techniques and patient management will be essential in helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.

EXPERIENCE

Ideal candidates will possess the following skills and experiences:

• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to physical therapy practices.
• Familiarity with medical terminology used in patient documentation and communication.
• Experience working in various settings such as inpatient, outpatient, acute care, geriatrics, pediatrics, and orthopedics.
• Previous experience in skilled nursing facilities or home health is preferred.
• Ability to develop effective care plans tailored to individual patient needs.

Pay: $36.00 - $40.00 per hour

Education:

• Associate (Required)

Experience:

• Pediatrics physical therapy: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (Required)

• Assist physical therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Provide direct patient care, including administering therapeutic exercises and modalities.
• Utilize trigger point therapy techniques to alleviate pain and improve mobility.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and discharge planning.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients during therapy sessions.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills.
