J.M.R. Electric is seeking the right candidate to join our team! We are a dynamic group committed to exceeding the standards of excellence in the Mechanical and Electrical service industry throughout Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install plumbing systems for new construction projects, which include water supply lines, drainage, and fixtures for mid-rise buildings and commercial structures.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to ensure that plumbing systems are installed in compliance with building codes, safety standards, and project specifications.
  • Collaborate closely with other trades, such as electricians and sheet metal workers, to ensure the seamless integration of all mechanical systems.
  • Work together with project managers and site supervisors to meet project timelines and stay within budgets.
  • Follow blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute plumbing installations accurately.
  • Mentor and supervise plumbing apprentices, ensuring high standards of workmanship and safety at the job site.
  • Stay updated on changes to local building codes and industry best practices, implementing them in daily tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Red Seal Plumber, COT Registered in good standing
  • Commercial and Institutional construction an asset
  • Valid Drivers license and transportation
  • Gas Technician 3 (asset but not required)
  • Gas Technician 2 (asset but not required)
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, building codes, and safety regulations
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working effectively with multiple trades.

This is a full time position that offers full benefit and pension package well above the industry standards.
