Solar Mechanical Services is located in Mississauga, ON. We are looking for an experienced Licensed Plumber to join our Team. Full-time, Part-time, and Subcontractors are welcome

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Repair and install piping, Domestic/Hydronic heating systems, fixtures, fittings, valves and pipe supports
• Operation of pipe cutters, reamers, threading machines and other plumbing tools and equipment
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems.
• Diagnose plumbing issues and provide effective solutions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.
• Assemble, fit, and test piping systems.
• Ensure work is compliant with local plumbing codes and safety standards.
• Communicate clearly with clients and team members.

Requirements

• Valid Plumber License with at least 2 years of work experience.
• Experience working with Boilers and Hydronic Heating Systems.
• Should be capable of working alone at the job sites.
• Should be capable of troubleshooting problems and resolving them efficiently.
• Valid Fall Height Certificate
• Valid driver’s license Class G* with a clean driving record
• Thorough knowledge of the Plumbing Codes
• A punctual and honest individual with integrity
• Clean work and 100% code compliance
• Must be able to perform physical work in confined spaces and from heights using a ladder in all weather conditions (e.g. heavy lifting, walking, climbing, push and pull and working)
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality work and superior customer service
• Willingness to work extended hours and Weekends when required
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times
• Other duties as required
