Join us on this meaningful journey where your skills, compassion, and dedication will make a remarkable difference in the lives of those we serve.   Medsurg Vascular Unit: * Our Medical-Surgical Vascular unit specializes in caring for patients with complex vascular and circulatory conditions, as well as general medical and post‑surgical needs. This unit provides nurses the opportunity to develop strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and technical skills while caring for patients before and after vascular procedures and surgeries. * Patients on this unit may include those with peripheral vascular disease, arterial and venous disorders, wound complications, post‑operative vascular care, and chronic conditions requiring ongoing monitoring and education. Nurses work closely with vascular surgeons, hospitalists, wound care specialists, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care. * Nurses on this unit are provided the opportunity to earn dialysis certification as part of their professional development.   How you’ll contribute   You’ll make an impact by utilizing your specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator. You will shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage your skills and our cutting-edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing. * Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs  * Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions  * Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient  * Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record  * Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient  * Performs timely and accurate QI assessments    What we’re looking for:  Applicants should have a current state LPN license. Additional requirements include:  * Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.  * Contributes to the assessment of patients by collecting data for analysis by an RN. * Performs plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care; may administer medication. * Documents patient care provided. * Assists RN with development of plan of care. * Assists patients with daily living activities including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. * Monitors, documents, and communicates patient status and responses to interventions with RN, physician, patient, and family. * Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient. * Participates in performance improvement and continuing education. * Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts/units as needed. * Maintains regular and reliable attendance. * Performs other duties as assigned. *     Schedule: 3x12, Nights Why join us We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
